About GROW YOUR CLASSROOM
Supporting Educators of all kinds!
Our goal is to place at least one houseplant into every classroom in West Michigan. Not a traditional classroom teacher? No problem! We also provide houseplants for early childhood educators, homeschoolers, continuing education teaching staff, and student support staff. Basically, if students of any kind are in your spaces, we want to help!
Grow your Classroom is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation based in West Michigan. It was founded by Amy Wiers and Liz Louisell.
Local Ties
Grow your Classroom is run by local educational staff, supported by local houseplant keepers, and local greenhouses.
Want to help?
We're always looking for help! Donations of houseplants, pots, planters, potting medium, or maintenance items are always welcome.
We also need volunteers to serve as collection sites across the West Michigan area. Volunteers are also welcome to help us process new donations and pull plants for delivery!
